[Eng. translation:”A Place Where People Dance” /  Rejoice” ]

If you know me, you know how much I love to share the story of my name due to its clear nod to my calling. I was named by Oliver Tambo, President of the ANC (African National Congress) from 1967 to 1991, at the occasion of a conference  that took place in Maputo in 1983. The day was marked by jubilation as the African leaders arrived in the Mozambican capital, hence “G(u)iyani”, a name and moment I proudly honour in both personal and professional life.

Thanks for stopping by.
